Hazel Mann is an entrepreneur with over 15 years of experience in real estate operations and technology. She specializes in translating emerging technologies such as artificial intelligence, blockchain, and IOT for practical applications in the future of work. As the founder of Volynt, Hazel is spearheading the post-COVID "new normal" by developing an affordable AI-powered biosensor system that prevents COVID infections in the workplace.
A recovering commercial real estate finance person, she started her career leading a software development team streamlining the cleanup of commercial real estate toxic loans from the Great Recession for a $4B portfolio. Hazel then went on to work for the 6th largest global owner of office, overseeing technology strategy across a $10B AUM institutional portfolio with over 4,200 tenants. She started her own advisory firm consulting for the fourth largest global owner of private healthcare real estate and various large family offices, vetting and applying B2B SaaS emerging technology solutions to their funds.
Hazel has an MBA from UCLA Anderson School of Business, completing her Master thesis in emerging IOT at the Easton Technology Leadership Program. Certified in Software Product Management (SPM) and Executive Data Science from Johns Hopkins, she has been named one of the top five commercial real estate technologists in the industry and has sat on advisory council for Realcomm, the industry's largest technology trade organization.
